Our Story --

It all started with a line of glass jewelry designed to encourage women to ‘Breakthru … The Glass Ceiling’!  More than ever we need to breakthrough barriers and advance women and people of color. 

For over 25 years, Vivian Shimoyama has created glass artwork and her ‘glass with a cause’. Her designs are in the collections of women around the world, including Madam Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.  Vivian has advocated for women, girls and people of color in our nation and around the world.  

The original Glass Ceiling pin is featured in Madeleine Albright’s book Read My Pins, and museums in the United States – the Smithsonian, New York Museum of Arts and Design, and Clinton Presidential Library, to name a few.
