This hand made brooch is a symbol of breaking the highest glass ceiling and was created in honor of Kamala Harris, our first woman Vice President in The White House. She is the first African American and South Asian woman to be elected to the position of Vice President of the United States. She is breaking invisible barriers -- glass ceilings and paving the way for others to follow.
In her victory speech, Vice President Harris spoke of her mother and the generations of women of all races who paved the way for this moment. -- "While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last. Because every little girl watching tonight sees that this is a country of possibilities."
